MÂNÂ YILDIZ

Mânâ Yıldız is designer and artist. She founded Mânâ Yildiz Studio in 2012.

With a keen interest in autonomy, she designs products that are visually interesting from all angles which can also exist as self-standing objects. This self-sufficient and independent quality adds a sculptural value to her design products.

Form, material, color, scale and craftmanship are carefully selected in her design process to create an interesting and inspiring dialogue with each other. She designs products that are sensual, intriguing and pleasing to all senses with a hint of oddness but always humane and calm. Her design represents new expressions, a unique sense of rhythm and gestures which are often rooted in the subtle nonverbal communication, such as body language. These elements are translated into products with her aesthetic vision which is based on simplifying, refinement and subtlety.

Mânâ Yıldız graduated as product designer from The Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands. She is trained in working with different materials, production techniques and colors. She uses her design and artistic expertise to bring out the most value from various sources.

She is also specialized in storytelling with colors. She uses colors as a tool in design to create new meanings and empower the senses. Adding multi dimension to design objects with various colors, finishes and textures is an extension of the rhythm feeling which she praises in her work, as one of her most important inspiration sources.

Mânâ Yıldız designs products that are also self-standing objects. She designs calm, confident and sensual products to inspire and create new rituals.
